Further Casting Confirmed Cinderella at the London Palladium

Running at the London Palladium from the 9th December until the 15th January 2017, a new pantomime production of Cinderella has confirmed further casting in the production.

The festive production will include an all star line-up, with Amanda Holden now set to star as the Fairy Godmother alongside the previously announced Paul O’Grady (Wicked Stepmother), Julian Clary (Dandini), Lee Mead (Prince Charming), Paul Zerdin (Buttons), Nigel Havers as (Lord Chamberlain) and Count Arthur Strong (Baron Hardup).

Further casting for the show, to be directed by Michael Harrison, and the Olivier nominated choreographer Andrew Wright, has yet to confirmed – including the title role of Cinderella.

The London Palladium was once renowned for its pantomimes, which ran every year at the theatre from  1948-1987, with the last production ‘Babes in the Wood’ starring Dame Barbara Windsor and Cannon & Ball.

Talking about taking part in this year’s pantomime, television presenter Amanda Holden said: “ I cannot wait to spread my Fairy Godmother dust over the festive season in this huge production at one of the most iconic theatres in the world. It’s an absolute honour to have been asked.
