NEWS: Punchdrunk Enrichment Announces Enitan’s Game

The family friendly immersive show will take place at Punchdrunk Enrichment Stores from the 14th June until the 1st September.

Punchdrunk Enrichment have announced the first show to take place in their new home in Wembley Park this summer.

Titled Enitan’s Game, this immersive experience for all the family has been co-written by Mia Jerome, Casey Jay Andrews, Omar F. Okai and Simon Maeder and directed by Omar F. Okai.

Tucked away off a busy road in Wembley is a special place. Warm and welcoming, it’s a home for many when you are far from your own.

Inside you’ll find Enitan and Ged, two friends who collect objects and stories.

One such item is a game, made by Enitan’s grandfather when she first arrived in the UK. As a young girl, whenever she felt sad or homesick they played it together. It made her feel stronger and helped her grow.

Now Enitan’s grandfather has gone and she needs your help to play again. Together, you’ll discover a secret world, and unlock the storyteller in you.

Aimed at those aged six to eleven, this new production from Punchdrunk Enrichment aims to help encourage children’s imagination and love of storytelling.

Punchdrunk Enrichment began a three-year residency in Wembley Park in May 2023, with the goal of developing a multi – purpose immersive arts space. The choice of location recognised Wembley Park’s commitment to both the arts and to establishing the neighbourhood as a thriving cultural destination within Brent.

Today this new space is officially unveiled as Punchdrunk Enrichment Stores.  The building offers a programme of immersive theatre shows, masterclasses, community residencies and events.

The production team behind Enitan’s Game includes: Lydia Reed (design lead), Alexander Hunt (production and lighting) and Charlie Speller (white lighting production and lighting).
