The latest production images to be released now feature songwriter Matt Cardle in the role of Huey Calhoun as well as Beverley Knight as Felicia Farrell – the role that she has played since the show opened.

Written by the Grammy Award-winning David Bryan (founding member of Bon Jovi) and Joe Dipietro and directed by Christopher Ashley, Memphis the Musical is inspired by true events from the underground clubs of 1950s Memphis. It follows the fame and forbidden love of a radio DJ and a club singer waiting for her big break.

Booking for the show at the Shaftesbury Theatre continues through to the end of the production’s run in the West End on the 31st October 2015.
The show won two Olivier Awards at this year’s ceremony: Best Sound Design (by Gareth Owen) and Best Choreography (Sergio Trujillo).
