There is plenty of things happening in the world of theatre so here is a round up of some of the best:
West End Magic Show Impossible Seeking Magicians and Illusionists for Roles in 2016 UK & International Tour
Due to the popularity of the show at the Noel Coward Theatre, the magic show is heading off on a UK and International tour in 2016 and producers are looking out for other magicians to take part in the show.
They are seeking a full range of different abilities from death-defying escapology to up-close-and-personal magic tricks.
Anyone interested in applying to take part should send a video to casting@jamiehendryproductions.com that showcases their best tricks and stunts – including full name, contact information and photograph by 12pm on Monday 17th August. The most promising acts will then be invited to audition in London in front of Anthony Owen (producer and director) during the week of 17th August.
Casting Announced for F*ck the Polar Bears at the Bush Theatre
The production of Tanya Ronder’s play is heading towards its first previews on the 11th of September and the cast has been announced for the run at the Bush Theatre.
It is the world premiere production of the play and will star Jon Foster, Salóme R Gunnarsdóttir, Susan Stanley and Andrew Whipp in the roles.
This new comedy is about a family who have the world at their feet, but are constantly plagued by the everyday first world problems of a prosperous life.
Andrew Whipp and Susan Stanley will play the roles of Gordon and Serena – the seemingly perfect couple, while Salóme R Gunnarsdóttir takes the role of Blundhilde, their long-suffering idealistic au pair, with Jon Foster as Gordon’s troubled brother, the black sheep of the family. Bella Anne Padden and Eléa Vicas will share the role of the couple’s young daughter Rachel.

Cast Announcement for Tipping the Velvet at the Lyric Hammersmith
It has been announced today that recent RADA graduate Sally Messham will be making her debut professional performance as Nancy Astley in the Lyric Hammersmith production of Tipping the Velvet. She will be joined by Laura Rodgers who will be playing the role of Kitty Butler in the adaptation of Sarah Waters book.
This new production will arrive at the Lyric Hammersmith from the 18th September, running until the 24th October. It will then head to the Royal Lyceum theatre in Edinburgh from the 28th October-14th November.
Directed by Lyndsey Turner, the production is set in 1887 and Nancy is sitting in the audience at a music hall, not knowing the next act to appear on stage will change her life. Tonight she will fall in love with the stage and Kitty Butler. Hungry for experience Nancy follows Kitty to London where a number of adventures are waiting to unfold…
