Following on from the successful launch of the Wilma Awards in 2014, Theatre Blogger West End Wilma has announced that the awards will take place once again this year on Friday the 30th October at the Hippodrome Casino in London.

West End Wilma has become the best known theatre blogger in London who enjoys running around London’s West End and watching as many shows as possible and interviewing stars for her faithful followers. In 2014, Wilma was awarded the Ticketmaster Blog of the Year Award and uses social media to form a strong engagement with the theatre world.

You are able to vote in the awards until the 8th October, with the winners being announced at the ceremony at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square at 1.30pm on Friday the 30th October 2015.

It has also been announced that a limited number of tickets are available to buy at a price of £20 each. The ceremony will run from 1.30 – 2.30pm and tickets can be booked here .

Nominees for this year’s awards includes the hit musical Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre(Best West End Show), Made in Dagenham (Most Underrated West End Show) and Wicked (Best Touring Show). In the acting categories the nominations include: Beverley Knight (Best Vocal Performance), Alistair McGowan (Best Actor in a Play or Musical) and Eva Noblezada (Best Actress in a Play or Musical).
