The New Victoria Theatre in Woking has announced that Katie Price and Anita Dobson will be sharing the role of Wicked Fairy in this year’s pantomime of Sleeping Beauty, running from the 11th December until 10th January 2016.
Model and Television star Katie Price will be appearing in the show from the 11th December until the 27th December, while stage and screen actress Anita Dobson will play the Wicked Fairy from the 28th December until the 10th of January.

The cast also includes CBeebies favourite Ben Faulks as Prince Charming and Alan Committie as Chester the Jester.
Talking about joining the cast Katie Price said: “‘I’m not sure who’s more excited about my role in panto, me or the kids! They’re going to enjoy it so much seeing me up on stage, although they might find it strange that I’m being so evil. Sleeping Beauty is one of the kids favourite stories and I simply couldn’t resist the opportunity.”
Meanwhile Anita Dobson is best known for her role as Angie Watts in Eastenders but has had a vast career on stage and screen. Talking about her return to pantomime she said: “‘Pantomime is a great love of mine. Being on stage surrounded by sparkly scenery and costumes, working with a fantastic company and hearing the children in the audience having such a great time gives me such a buzz. ”

The fun filled show tells the story of a beautiful princess who pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep. Will her true love be able to awaken her and save the kingdom from the enchantment?
Featuring glittery costumes, sensational songs and bags of fun to keep the audience entertained, Sleeping Beauty is perfect viewing for all families this Christmas!
