The full cast for A Christmas Carol, arriving at London’s Noel Coward Theatre from the 30th November has been announced.

Joining Jim Broadbent as Scrooge will be: Adeel Akhtar (Utopia, Four Lions), Amelia Bullmore (Scott and Bailey, Twenty Twelve), Keir Charles (The Roaring Girl, The White Devil) and Samantha Spiro (Di and Viv and Rose, Merrily We Roll Along).

The ensemble is completed by puppeteers Jack Parker and Kim Scopes. Parker is currently working with Warner Brothers on the new film of The Jungle Book , with his previous stage work including War Horse and A Dog’s Heart. Meanwhile Scopes has worked for companies such as Blunderbus Theatre Company and Twice Shy Theatre.

This new production directed by Phelim McDermott (Artistic Director of Improbable theatre Company)  and written by Patrick Barlow (The 39 Steps), sees Jim Broadbent making his long awaited return to the London stage in this classic tale of greed, grief and redemption based on Charles Dickens’ well known novel.
