Audiences should prepare to get reintroduced to one of the most feared men in home entertainment Carlton Leech as he returns to Essex…

(Warning: trailer contains strong language – not suitable for children)

Rise of the Footsoldier 2 is released in cinemas  tomorrow (11th December), before being available on Blu-ray, DVD and on demand from the 26th December.

The film picks up where the last film left off, following what happened after the infamous Rettendon triple murders and how Carlton Leech coped following the death of his three close friends, killed in an attack that took place in a Range Rover down a small farm track.

This latest instalment sees Carlton fighting to regain his place in the criminal underworld – until circumstances conspire to place him at the centre of what could potentially be his last job.

As well as starring Ricci Harnett as Carlton Leech, the film also stars Steven Berkoff, Luke Mably, Daniel Adegboyega, Joshua Osei and Jonathan Harden.

The first film was released in 2007 and this second instalment (judging by the trailer) is expected to be just as brutal.

Rise of the Footsoldier 2 is out in cinemas tomorrow and available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray from the 26th December.
