Casting Announced for Premiere of Rabbit Hole at Hampstead Theatre

Hampstead Theatre has announced casting for the UK premiere of of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize winning drama Rabbit Hole, previewing from the 29th January 2016.

Directed by Artistic Director Edward Hall, the production includes Claire Skinner, Tom Goodman-Hill, Alison Steadman, Georgina Rich and Sean Delaney in the cast.

Becca and Howie are a happy family with everything that they could possibly want – until a shocking and unexpected event turns their world upside down and leaves them drifting apart. Becca and Howie must try and find a way to come back together, while their unpredictable family tries to bridge the ‘infinite space between’, which life changing events can create.

Claire Skinner will make her Hampstead Theatre debut in the production, playing Becca. her previous credits include: The Father at the Wyndham’s theatre, Othello at the National Theatre and Measure for Measure for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Returning to the Hampstead Theatre to play Howie is Tom Goodman-Hill, who last performed at the theatre in Darker Shores. His other credits include: Earthquakes in London at the National Theatre and Spamalot at the Palace Theatre.

Also returning to the theatre for Rabbit Hole is Alison Steadman, who has previously starred in Losing Louis, Marvin’s Room, Uncle Vanya and Abigail’s Party. Her other theatre credits include: Here (Rose Kingston), Blithe Spirit and Entertaining Mr Sloane (TheatreRoyal Bath & West End).

Georgina Rich’s previous credits includes: Between Us (Arcola Theatre), As You Like It (Rose Theatre), The Merchant of Venice (RSC), Dirty Dancing (Aldwych Theatre) and Honour (PW Productions).

Rabbit Hole marks the professional stage debut for Sean Delaney, having graduated from RADA this year where his credits include: Measure for Measure, Mrs Warren’s Profession, New Labour, Stasiland, Chicken Soup with Barley, Mephisto and Twelfth Night.

This production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s play is directed by Edward Hall whose Hampstead Theatre productions include: Sunny Afternoon, Chariots of Fire and Firebird.
