As the show enters its eighth year in the West End, Jersey Boys has announced four new Seasons to join the cast from the 15th March.
This news is the first time that all four Seasons have changed at the same time since the show opened in London nearly eight years ago.
The new London cast will feature: Matt Corner, Simon Bailey,Declan Egan and Matt Hunt in the roles of Frankie,Tommy,Bob and Nick – aka Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Long established as one of the West End’s most popular shows, Jersey Boys is jam packed with hits such as ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘December 1963 (Oh What a Night)’ and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes off You’.
Discover how four New Jersey boys from the wrong side of the tracks invented their own unique sound, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and sold 100 million records worldwide. With spectacular performances of all their hits, Jersey Boys is the electrifying true life story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons; the mob, the heartaches, the triumphs and the music.
The cast will also include from the 15th March: Mark Dugale, Leanne Garretty, Will Haswell, Mark Heenehan, Joe Maxwell,Nathaniel Morrison and Dan O’Brien.
The musical originally opened at the Prince Edward Theatre in 2008, before transferring to the Piccadilly Theatre in 2014. It is directed by Des McAnuff, choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costumes designed by Jess Goldstein as well as music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe.
Matt Corner joins the West End production, following on from the UK tour of the show. He also starred in We Will Rock You as Galileo.
Simon Bailey’s extensive West End work includes roles in I Can’t Sing The X Factor Musical and The Phantom of the Opera.
Meanwhile Declan Egan has had roles in the Australian and New Zealand tours of Jersey Boys, now making his West End debut in the London production.
Finally, Matt Hunt also made his debut in the Australian and New Zealand tour of Jersey Boys and will be making his London debut as well.
