The world premiere for a new Wild West inspired cabaret show is among the latest shows announced for London Wonderground and Udderbelly festivals.
London’s home of cabaret, burlesque and alternative comedy will present the world premiere of The Raunch, a Wild West cabaret circus in which a Western story is told through circus, music and burlesque. It will run at the festival from the 5th May to the 12th June.
Other acts that have been confirmed to perform as part of the festival include: trailblazers Tiger Lillies, interactive anarchy from Miss Behave’s Game Show, political-comedy-cabaret from Bourgeois & Maurice and the infamous Alternative Eurovision.
Meanwhile, new acts confirmed to be taking part at the Udderbelly festival includes: Angelos & Barry, Sh*t Faced Shakespeare and a sizeable nostalgia trip for the whole family in the form of anarchic science romp Brainiac Live!.
They are joined by Frisky & Mannish, Sean Hughes, The Noise Next Door, Alex Edelman, Mark Dolan, Beta Males, musical maestroJoe Stilgoe, master impressionist Jess Robinson and Kevin Eldon, Josie Long and Simon Munnery’s Alternative Trio.
But the Udderbelly will also be catering for families including shows such as: Showstoppers’ Fantastical Story Factory, musical funnyman Jay Foreman and The Noise Next Door’s Family Show.
London Wonderground runs from the 5th May to the 25th September, while the Udderbelly Festival is on from the 7th April to the 17th July.
