Featuring music by BB Cooper and a book and lyrics by Chris Burgess, this world premiere will run at the Landor Theatre from the 4th to the 29th May.

An angel crash-lands in Clapham. He is embraced by mercenary forces in the madness of metropolitan London, 2016. How long before he is corrupted by the devilish delights on offer?

The production will be directed by Marc Urquhart and features 16 brand new songs written by BB Cooper and Chris Burgess. Devilish! also includes in its creative team: musical direction by Ian MacGregor, choreography by Pavel Strouhal, designs by David Shields and lighting by David Lambert. Casting has yet to be announced.

Devilish! was inspired by John Ruskin’s comment that an angel appearing on earth would be shot on sight. H.G. Wells went on to write a novel called The Wonderful Visit based on this observation – but now a new team of writers offer a new insight into this thought.

This musical comedy will feature an original score that just proves that the devil doesn’t have all the best tunes to dance to.

Devilish! will appear at the Landor Theatre from the 4th May to the 29th May. For more information and to book tickets visit: http://www.landortheatre.co.uk/product/devilish/
