This debut play by Neil Koenigsberg will star Michael Brandon and Cherie Lunghi, running at the Jermyn Street Theatre from the 1st to the 25th June.
After his wife’s recent passing, retired American Matt Browne takes a week’s respite in his favourite city, London. Checking into a small hotel, off the King’s Road, his stay unexpectedly turns into a voyage of self-discovery: life, death and the whole damn thing.
Directed by Alan Cohen, Neil Koenigsberg’s debut play arrives in London following successful runs in New York and Los Angeles.
The cast includes Michael Brandon best known for roles in television sitcom Episodes and Captain America. He will appear alongside Cherie Lunghi, who has previously appeared in The Manageress and Strictly Come Dancing. The production also will star Luke Pitman.
Talking about bringing the play to London, playwright Neil Koenigsberg said: “the biggest treat of all is to see the play produced anew in London, where it takes place.”
The production will feature set and costume designs by Claire Lyth.
Off the King’s Road will run at the Jermyn Street Theatre from the 1st to the 25th June 2016.
