Shows Opening: 18th – 25th April

Here’s a few shows that are opening next week in London – wishing them the best of luck for their press nights! 

All That Fall, Arts Theatre: director Max Stafford-Clark blindfolds the audience in this new production of Samuel Beckett’s first radio play and arrives at the Arts Theatre following runs at the Wilton’s Music Hall and Bristol Old Vic.  Playing until the 14th May. (Discount Theatre.comTheatre Tickets Direct.co.uk, Love Theatre.com, Theatre People.com and UK Tickets.co.uk)

Down & Out in Paris and London, New Diorama Theatre: this new modern satire is based on George Orwell’s autobiographical tale with Polly Toynbee’s 2003 book Hard Work. It has been written and directed by the New Diorama Theatre’s Artistic and Executive director David Byrne. Find out more here.  On until 14th May. 

Funny Girl, Savoy Theatre: after a hugely successful run at the Menier Chocolate  Factory, Michael Mayer’s production transfers to the Savoy Theatre with Sheridan Smith as Fanny Brice. Doctor Faustus, Duke of York’s Theatre: Jamie Lloyd directs a new version of Christopher Marlowe’s most famous play, with Kit Harington in the title role.
