Empire Magazine Announces Empire Live Event

The world’s biggest and most famous film magazine Empire has launched Empire Live, a two day and three night film and entertainment  spectacular at the O2 Arena.

Hosted at the O2 arena from the 23rd to the 25th September, the event will include premieres, first-look screenings, specially curated bills, masterclasses and pop-up parties.

Film fans will have an opportunity to see world class actors and film makers  introducing screenings, run workshops and attend events.

So far, confirmed content includes a special screening of Richard Linklater’s latest, Everybody Wants Some!!, and a series of screenings in partnership with purveyor of cinematic masterpieces The Criterion Collection. There will also be a live version of the award-winning Empire Film Podcast.

Empire Live will take over the entire O2 space, including events at the Cineworld at The O2, The Piazza and Brooklyn Bowl, in a weekend of exclusive screenings, short films, live events and specially curated programming by film experts.

The Brooklyn Bowl will become the social and hangout space for the event as well as bringing the magazine to life including a love podcast and movie quiz. More events such as the nightly parties in the space have yet to be confirmed.
