A woman prepares for work. Pursued by a man, she is hunter and hunted. An elaborate fantasy? Or a real threat circling outside the door?

Having had a successful run as part of the Adelaide Fringe 2015, winning the Best Theatre Award, Cut makes its London debut at the Vaults Theatre this Summer.

This one woman show is part installation, part theatre poem, part noir thriller and directed by the playwright to keep audiences on the edge of their seat throughout.

The production will feature sound design by 2009 Tony award nominated Russell Goldsmith and be performed by Hannah Norris.

Writer and director Duncan Graham said: “The idea for CUT was conceived in London, as I flew into the city, moved around on its trains, through its parks. Having had a season in Sydney at Belvoir, it’s so great to be presenting the work in what I consider to be its home. Hannah Norris is startling in the role, and she’ll haunt The Vaults with her breed of pure vengeance.”

Transporting audiences into the centre of 21st century fears, Cut is filled with fragmented storylines and amazing technical wizardry to create a memorable theatrical performance.

The show is set against a black backdrop and has moments of complete darkness that will unsettle the audience. It is an- edge -of-your-seat thriller that is unlike anything else you have probably ever seen.

Cut will run at the Vaults Theatre from the 5th to the 31st July. For more information and to book tickets visit: http://www.thevaults.london/#!cut/c1e1t
