The official UK trailer for new film Precious Cargo has been unveiled, ahead of the film’s release on July 15th.
Starring Bruce Willis, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Claire Forlani, Precious Cargo is directed by Max Adams.
After a botched heist, Eddie, a murderous crime boss, hunts down Karen, the seductive thief who failed him. In order to win back Eddie’s trust, Karen recruits her ex-lover and premier thief Jack to steal a cargo of rare precious gems. But when the job goes down, allegiances are betrayed and lines are crossed as Jack, Karen, and Eddie face off in a fateful showdown.
First impressions? Judging by this sharp trailer, there is plenty of action to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, which is only to expected if you are going to have Bruce Willis in the film.
It also looks as though there are plenty of twists and turns along the way to complicate the situation more, adding another layer to what is a traditional action thriller film. Of course it is difficult to tell from the trailer alone, but the film also looks sharp and has plenty of energy about it.
However, hopefully the characters and plot are developed fully enough to make it engaging and the film doesn’t simply rely on stunts as some other action films have been known to do.
Overall, it seems as though this is a film that will appeal mainly Bruce Willis fans – being filled with plenty of action sequences. But if you love an action film, then this is probably one to look out for.
