The Play That Goes Wrong Extends Run at Duchess Theatre

The Olivier Award winning comedy will now be booking at the Duchess Theatre until the 10th September 2017 it has been confirmed. 

This smash-hit production from Mischief Theatre, whose other productions include The Comedy About a Bank Robbery and Peter Pan Goes Wrong has previously enjoyed a run at the Trafalgar Studios, UK tour and a run at the Old Red Lion venue.

Directed by Mark Bell, The Play That Goes Wrong was written and created by Mischief Theatre members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields.

The show introduces The ‘Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’, a company of amateur actors attempting to stage a 1920’s murder mystery – but as audiences find out and the title suggests it doesn’t quite go according to plan.

The production includes set design by Nigel Hook, with lighting by Ric Mountjoy. Meanwhile, from the 29th June the cast will include: Adam Byron (Robert), Drew Dillon (Dennis), Joanne Ferguson (Annie), Fred Gray(Trevor), April Hughes (Sandra), Oliver Llewellyn-Jenkins(Jonathan), Daniel Millar (Max), Hayden Wood (Chris), Adam Boakes, Katy Daghorn, George Haynes and Lindsey Scott.
