Musical comedy parody Jest End will return to the Waterloo East Theatre from November in a new production, following its run in 2015 it has been confirmed.
Written and directed by Garry Lake, the show explores and exposes the successes, the misses and of course the gossip in the world of theatre and is back on stage for a limited three week run.
Described as London’s answer to Forbidden Broadway , the format for Jest End was originally seen at the Jermyn Street Theatre in 2007.
Providing audiences with up-to-date comedy, Jest End will present a take on the new and upcoming musicals in the West End including Guys &Dolls, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Groundhog Day, Matilda, Funny Girl and Les Miserables.
The show is choreographed by Rebecca Howell and will feature musical direction by James Doughty, with casting yet to be confirmed.
