The original adventures of one of the best loved bears was first published 90 years ago today. Love London Love Culture takes a look at some of the best loved stories featuring Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore.

In which Pooh Goes Visiting and Gets into a Tight Place – the silly old bear gets himself into a tricky situation when he goes to visit Rabbit at home and ends up getting stuck trying to get in – fret not! Christopher Robin and his friends all help to get him out.

In Which Eeyore Loses a Tail and Pooh Finds One – now if we are honest, when reading this story it is quite traumatic and sad – yes Eeyore gets his tail back but it is a close call and once again the story shows the power of friendship.

In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump –  poor little Piglet! lacking in courage and confidence, he is certainly my favourite little character from the stories. In this adventure, Pooh and Piglet attempt to try and catch a Heffalump by setting up a variety of different traps…

In Which We Are Introduced –  where it all began and introducing us to the beloved animal by going bump down the stairs and in which we learn of Winnie-the-Pooh’s love of honey and his attempts to collect it from a bee hive – disguised as a cloud…
