Mischief Theatre’s latest show is now booking in the West End until the 29th October 2017 it has been announced.
The news means that the show will complete 18 months in the West End, adding six months on to its current run.
Directed by Mark Bell, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery sees eight incompetent crooks attempting to get their hands on one huge diamond – what could possibly go wrong?
The hit comedy is Mischief Theatre’s third show running in the West End which also includes the Olivier Award winning The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, which is back at the Apollo Theatre following a successful run at the venue last year.
Presented by Kenny Wax Ltd and Stage Presence, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery was written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields and officially opened at the Criterion Theatre on the 21 April 2016 following previews from 31 March 2016.
The cast for the production includes Dave Hearn (Sam), Henry Lewis (Mr Freeboys), Jeremy Lloyd (Randall), Charlie Russell (Caprice), Jonanthan Sayer (Warren), Henry Shields (Mitch), Greg Tannahill (Cooper), Nancy Wallinger (Ruth), Chris Leask (‘everyone else’).
The production features designs by David Farley, costumes by Roberto Surace, lighting design by David Howe and sound design by Jon Fiber.
