One of British musical theatre’s best known and loved shows Blood Brothers is heading on tour in 2017, opening at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking from the 17th to the 21st January.

Touring until the 11th November and produced by Bill Kenwright, Willy Russell’s heart-wrenching musical is a story of fraternal twins who were separated at birth. Although their lives take them in two very different directions, the twins are destined to meet once again, with devastating consequences.
Blood Brothers ran in the West End from 1988 all the way to 2012 and has been touring the UK since 1995. Casting for many of the roles in this latest UK tour has yet to be confirmed.
But one cast member who has been confirmed and playing the important role of Liverpudlian birth mother of the twins, Mrs Johnstone will be Lyn Paul who has played the role a number of times and was the final person to play the character when the show closed in the West End.
The show includes an iconic score and features songs such as A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the haunting Tell Me It’s Not True.
This production is directed by Bob Tomson and features designs by Andy Walmsley, lighting by Nick Richings and sound by Dan Samson.
