It has been confirmed that six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald will return to London’s Leicester Square Theatre for four special concerts in April.

From the 12th to the 15th April, the Broadway star will return to the Leicester Square Theatre, where her shows sold out last year, to perform and to talk about her career so far.
Audra McDonald will be joined on stage by host and pianist Seth Rudetsky, who has recently appeared on stage in the London premiere of his musical Disaster! .
It has also been confirmed that there will also be a special guest appearance by McDonald’s husband, Will Swenson (the Tony nominated star of Hair and Pricilla, Queen of the Desert).
The concerts will be a mixture of behind-the-scenes stories prompted by questions asked by Seth Rudetsky as well as Audra performing some of the biggest hits from her musical theatre catalogue.
As well as holding the record for most Tony Best Performance wins than any other actor in history and being the only actress in history to win all four acting categories, Audra McDonald has starred in memorable productions of musicals including The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Carousel, Ragtime and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill.
Meanwhile, her husband and fellow performer Will Swenson received a Tony nomination for the revival of Hair and has also appeared on Broadway in Lestat, 110 in the Shade, Brooklyn and most recently in the hit musical comedy Disaster! Off-Broadway, he played the role of Stacee Jaxx in the musical Rock of Ages.
