Cast for the production, which plays as part of the VAULT festival from the 8th to the 12th February, has been confirmed.
Presented by Poleroid Theatre, it has been announced that Feliks Mathur , Molly Roberts and Hamish Rush will return to This Must Be the Place, following its debut at the Latitude festival last year, with James Cooney completing the cast.
Talking about bringing the show back to the stage Molly Roberts, Artistic Director of Poleroid Theatre said: “After a whirlwind development and rehearsal period of this brand new play for Latitude Festival 2016, we are thrilled to be able to work on this gem of a piece again with a team of such energising creatives. We are particularly delighted to have the opportunity to give the show another outing in the dynamic setting that is Vault.”
Two friends, fugitives from their problems, try and start again in the big smoke but find themselves waiting on the margins still.
A man in the midst of crisis tries for a clean break from technology, connectivity and the pressures of city life.
Two short ballads about being alive and not… About migration, missed connections, and life on the edge of respectability. Frantic and funny, quiet and thoughtful. Sometimes bleak, but never without a sense of hope, and certainly sweary enough for a child to be lead away by their parents. About where we are now, and whether we are really living. About getting away from it all.
