Alfie and Elton are in way over their heads. Though they barely know each other, they’ve got mixed up in a nasty incident which has put someone in hospital. Now the powers that be will decide who is to blame, and the verdict is sure to have life-changing ramifications for someone. It’s a lot to deal with when you’re only nine years old.

Directed by Sarah Thomas, the production combines drama with songs, games and of course audience participation.

Play Time has been written and stars Oliver Neck and Matt Zeqiri whose previous work includes writing the award-winning Film London-funded short ‘Wavelengths’, starring James Smith, which took the “Best Film” prize at the Short Cuts Festival, and ‘Inheritance’, a short film which won “Best Comedy” at the Smalls Film Festival. In 2015, they won “Best Play” at the Fourplay Theatre Festival in Paris for ‘Man of the Moment’, which is now being reworked into a radio sitcom in the UK.

Play Time will appear as part of the VAULT Festival from the 25th to the 29th January. For more information and to book tickets visit: http://www.vaultfestival.com/event/play-time/2017-01-25/#details|0
