NEWS: Little Bulb Theatre to Present Wail at Jacksons Lane

In 2016, Little Bulb Theatre wanted to discover the answers to questions such as why do whales sing? why do humans wail? – now they reveal their findings in Wail at the Jacksons Lane Theatre from the 2nd to the 4th March.

Combining songs, science and soundscapes, Little Bulb Theatre will return to their lo-fi roots  in this two-handed show.

Wail has been developed in partnership with Nuffield Theatre Southampton, using scientific research from Southampton University on sound and vibration.

The show arrives in London as part of an extensive UK tour which includes art centres and studios in places such as Salisbury, Aldershot, Plymouth, Canterbury, Lincoln and Farnham.

Jacksons Lane Artistic director, Adrian Berry said: “Little Bulb first visited us with a run of sell out shows in 2012 so it’s great to welcome them back. We’re huge fans of their inventiveness and absurd humour.”

The show will be performed by Clare Beresford and Dominic Conway.

Wail will arrive at Jacksons Lane from the 2nd to the 4th March. For more information and to book tickets visit: https://www.jacksonslane.org.uk/whats-on/wail
