Images of the cast of the highly anticipated and sold out National Theatre production of Angels in America have been released, as the production prepares to open for previews from the 11th April.

America in the mid-1980s. In the midst of the AIDS crisis and a conservative Reagan administration, New Yorkers grapple with life and death, love and sex, heaven and hell.
This revival production of Tony Kushner’s landmark play is directed by Marianne Elliott and features an all star cast including Andrew Garfield, Denise Gough and Nathan Lane.

While the production has sold out, the National Theatre has announced a number of ways that people will still be able to experience the production including:
The Angels Ballot presented by Delta which allows people to enter for the chance to purchase from hundreds of tickets available for £20 across the run.
Day Tickets on the day of a performance, a number of tickets priced between £15/£18 seats will be available to purchase in person at the ground floor box office from 9.30am, limited to two tickets per customer. Day Seats for two-show days are £30/£33 and are available as a combined ticket to attend both Part One and Part Two that day.
NT Live the production will be broadcast live from the Lyttelton Theatre to cinemas around the UK and internationally. Part One: Millennium Approaches will be broadcast live to cinemas on 20 July. Part Two: Perestroika will be broadcast live to cinemas on 27 July.

This 2017 production marks the 25th anniversary of the plays and is designed by Ian MacNeil, with costume by Nicky Gillibrand, lighting by Paule Constable, choreography and movement by Robby Graham, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson. Puppetry design is by Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell, puppetry director and movement Finn Caldwell and illusions by Chris Fisher.
