The Australian circus company will bring their new show Driftwood to the Underbelly Festival from the 4th May until the 4th June.
Following rave reviews at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Casus will bring their latest show Driftwood to London as part of the upcoming Underbelly Festival.
The circus company are renowned for their aesthetic of delicately human circus and Driftwood is a show that doesn’t let you forget that you’re human.
As we drift along the current of life we are shaped by the humans we encounter. The stories of our loved ones, our enemies and complete strangers guide us and determine the person we become.
In this colourful and turbulent concoction of pure joy and intimacy, watch Casus bring a blank canvas to life and reveal in our innate need for human contact.
The company’s previous show Knee Deep won international accolades including Best Circus & Physical Theatre at the Adelaide Fringe Awards 2016.
Driftwood will be performed by Johnny Brown, Jon Bonaventura, Shannon Vitali, Sarah McDougall and David Trappes.
