This Is Not Culturally Significant.jpg

A brutally intense, darkly comic one-man show that unveils the bizarre, compulsive and eccentric nature of humanity. This thunderous, high energy piece of theatre is performed entirely nude and combines dark clowning and deeply grotesque bouffon to create a sharp political comment on contemporary society.

This is Not Culturally Significant is a show that has been written, directed and performed by Adam Scott-Rowley and reveals the eccentric behaviour of humanity.

Performed entirely in the nude, the show puts the performer in a completely vulnerable state in all senses to make audiences fell equally uncomfortable and mesmerised by what is happening in front of them, putting their emotions on edge.

Talking about the show, Adam Scott-Rowley said:” I am utterly thrilled to be bringing This Is Not Culturally Significant. to The Bunker Theatre after a successful run at VAULT Festival. An old repurposed underground car-park is the perfect setting for the ‘gallery of grotesques’ who make up the show.”

This is Not Culturally Significant will play at The Bunker from the 15th May until the 3rd June. For more information and to book tickets visit: https://www.bunkertheatre.com/whats-on/this-is-not-culturally-significant
