Ahead of its opening night at The Vaults, the first images of Silent Opera’s production of Janacek’s classic opera Cunning Little Vixen have been released.

Vixen is a young runaway girl on the streets of London. As she begs for help, she is abducted by a man known as The Forester. But as she tries to escape, she becomes the hunted, in a world that has no place for her.
The story unfolds as you explore the uniquely designed space, with singers appearing in front of you, beside you and behind you. In each area you can take a seat and have everything flow around you or remove your headphones for that up close and personal experience of great opera voices.

This new production from Silent Opera is supported by the English National Opera and is an immersive experience for audiences, bringing opera and story telling together for a unique experience.
Vixen is directed by Daisy Evans, with the cast including: Rosie Lomas, Ivan Ludlow, Timothy Dickinson and Robin Bailey.

The creative team for this immersive production includes designs by Kitty Callister, composition by Max Pappenheim, sound design by David Gregory and music direction by Stephen Higgins.
Vixen plays at The Vaults until the 10th June. For more information and to book tickets visit: https://www.thevaults.london/vixen.
