On display from the 21st June, No 20 Gallery presents a solo exhibition showcasing the work of the British artist.
Featuring sculpture, photography and film, the exhibition will showcase how Augustine Carr creates work that rejects an emphasis on representation in favour of the process and the practice that lies behind the final creation.
The artist has an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins. After he graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2016 with a sold-out show of his work. In October this year, Carr will take part in ‘Colossus’, curated by After Projects for Frieze Week.
This new exhibition of the artist’s work is displayed in the No 20, a new centre for contemporary art in Islington. It hosts a programme of self-produced exhibitions, curated shows, and collaborations with other galleries, which began in January 2017.
