New Music: There’s a Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He’s Elvis by Tex Pistols

The Tex Pistols are back with a brand new cajun style version of “There’s a Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He’s Elvis”. 

This brand new five track EP features the original co-writer Philip Rambow on vocals and Sarah Jane Morris on backing vocals and is being released in order to raise funds and awareness of UK Prostate Cancer.

Tex Pistols have been described as “THE punkabilly unit in the UK” during the  1980’s- 2000. having had a monthly residency at London’s iconic Break For the Border and featuring the choicest song selection of 1st generation Rock, C&W, and Rockabilly classics, they  were often joined onstage by visiting musician’s like Nick Lowe, Doug Sahm, Carlene Carter, and Paul Carrack.

The band are formed of Paul Riley (Vox, Bass),Philip Rambow ( Vox, Rhythm Guitar), Geraint Watkins ( Vox, Piano, Accordian), Martin Belmont (Lead Guitar), Bob Loveday (Fiddle) and  Pete Thomas.
