Arriving at the King’s Head Theatre from the 29th August, final casting for this world premiere has been announced.
Seven leading gay writers join forces to tell stories of our lives over seven decades.
Seven new short plays spanning the decades from the 1950s to the present day exploring gay lives against a rapidly changing social history from intolerance, violence and hate through to the legalisation of homosexuality and gay marriage.
Each of the one act plays written by leading gay writers are dedicated to the struggles and joys of gay men connecting with each other over the last seven decades.
The world premiere production is directed by Mary Franklin and is set to star: Elliot Balchin, Jack Bence, Myles Devonté, Michael Duke, Alex Marlow and James Richard Marshall.
Produced by Making Productions in association with the King’s Head Theatre, Outlaws to in-Laws explores gay men in the throes of love – young love, risky love, secret love… and good old-fashioned romance from the 1950’s until the present day.
Outlaws to In-Laws features work by Jonathan Harvey, Jonathan Kemp, Joshua Val Martin, Matt Harris, Patrick Wilde, Philip Meeks and Topher Campbell.
