PREVIEW: Britney Spears: The Cabaret, The Other Palace

The Other Palace will host Britney Spears: The Cabaret from the 5th to the 9th September.

Following sold out runs in Australia, Britney Spears: The Cabaret will arrive in London for one week only in September, starring Christie Whelan Browne.

Written and directed by Dean Bryant, the show charts the rise and fall of the princess of Pop while taking a satirical look at the perils of fame.

For this London run, Christie Whelan Browne reprises her role as Britney. Her previous stage work in Australia includes Company,The ProducersXanaduThe Drowsy Chaperone (Helpmann Award Nomination) and playing opposite Geoffrey Rush in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.

Director and writer Dean Bryant’s previous credits include directing work such as Sweet Charity (Hayes Theatre Company, Helpmann Award for Best Director of a Musical), and Skylight and Next to Normal (Melbourne Theatre Company). Writing credits include Prodigal (Off Broadway) and Liza (on an E)(Vaudeville Theatre, West End).
