As rehearsals get under way for the Tony Award winning play, images have been released of the cast at work. Here’s a glimpse of what they have been up to so far…

Following a successful run in America, the new play from J.T. Rogers arrives at the National Theatre from the 5th to the 23rd September, before transferring to the Harold Pinter theatre from the 2nd October.
In 1993, in front of the world’s press, the leaders of Israel and Palestine shook hands on the lawn of the White House. Few watching would have guessed that the negotiations leading up to this iconic moment started secretly in a castle in the middle of a forest outside Oslo.
Oslo tells the true story of two maverick Norwegian diplomats who coordinated top secret talks and inspired seemingly impossible friendships. Their quiet heroics led to the groundbreaking Oslo Peace Accords.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the production is set to star Toby Stephens in the role of social-scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, Lydia Leonard as his wife, diplomat Mona Juul and Peter Polycarpou as Ahmed Qurie, the former Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority.
The cast is also set to include: Geraldine Alexander, Philip Arditti, Thomas Arnold, Nabil Elouahabi , Karoline Gable, Paul Herzberg, Jacob Krichefski,Jonah Y Lotan, Anthony Shuster, Daniel Stewart and Howard Ward.

Oslo was awarded ‘Best Play’ at the 2017 Tony Awards and was winner of every ‘Best Play’ award on Broadway this season, including those given by New York Drama Critics’ Circle, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle , Drama League, Obie and Lucille Lortel Awards.

The creative team for the production includes sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting byDonald Holder, sound by Peter John Still and projections by 59 Productions. Oslo is produced in association with Ambassador Theatre Group and Scott Delman.
