Due to popular demand, it has been confirmed that Five Guys Named Moe is now booking at the Marble Arch Theatre until the 17th February 2018.
Underbelly Productions has confirmed that the new production of Clarke Peters’ Olivier award winning and Tony award nominated musical will now book until Saturday 17th February.
Officially opening on the 14th September, Five Guys Named Moe is playing at brand new Marble Arch Theatre, which has been especially created for the production to whisk audiences to an 1940s all-swinging New Orleans club.
The musical was first seen at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in 1990, before Cameron Mackintosh brought it to the West End where it ran for four years. It features the hits of trailblazing ‘King of the Jukebox’ Louis Jordan such as Early In The Morning, Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby, Choo Choo Ch’Boogie and Saturday Night Fish Fry.
Five Guys Named Moe is directed by Clarke Peters, with musical direction and choreography by Andrew Wright inspired by Charles Augins’ original choreography, set and costume design by takis, lighting design by Philip Gladwell and sound design by Ben Harrison.
The production stars Edward Baruwa as Nomax and the ‘Moes’ are played by: Ian Carlyle (Four-Eyed Moe), Dex Lee (Know Moe), Idriss Kargbo (Little Moe), Timothy Martin (Big Moe) and Emile Ruddock (Eat Moe).
Nomax is down on his luck. Newly single and broke, he drinks his sorrows away. But in a wild night that he’ll never forget, Five Guys Named Moe – Big Moe, Little Moe, Eat Moe, Know Moe and Four-Eyed Moe – are on hand to help him party his way back to the straight and narrow.
