PREVIEW: Sirens of the Silver Screen, Upstairs at the Gatehouse

The production delves into the lives of three of the 20th century’s iconic silver screen stars: Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Judy Garland.

Glitz, glamour and grim truths: Beth Burrows delves into the lives of the 20th century’s most iconic women — Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe — performing their most loved songs and shedding light on the shadowy secrets that stalked their careers.

Sirens of the Silver Screen was written by Beth Burrows and sees her taking on each woman and uncovering their lives and secrets that followed them throughout their careers.

Beth Burrows studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and has performed the show to critical acclaim in Dubai and across the Emirates.

The production will whisk audiences to a world Old Hollywood glamour, where fame, fate and misfortune collide in glitz, glamour and grim truths and is directed by Mark Giesser.
