The Young Vic Theatre has announced casting for Bijan Sheibani’s production of Tarell Alvin McCraney’s play that tells of the unspoken bond between brothers.
It has been announced that Sope Dirisu will play eldest brother Ogun and Jonathan Ajayiplays younger brother Oshoos – both are making their Young Vic debuts. They will be joined by Anthony Welsh returns to the role of Elegba, a role he played during the 2008 revival of The Brothers Size at the Young Vic and UK tour in the same year.
The production is designed by Patrick Burnier with live music and sound design by Manuel Pinheiro.
