Here’s Love London Love Culture’s guide to some of the most eagerly anticipated films of 2018… 

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – the sequel to this new franchise of the wizarding world isn’t out until next November but fans of the first Fantastic Beasts will be eager to see how the story of Grindelwald will unfold and for the first glimpse of a young Dumbledore played by Jude Law.

Incredibles 2: for those who have been longing for a sequel to the hilarious adventures of one family who  with their range of superpowers are capable of saving the world from any number of villains, will be eagerly awaiting for next summer when this sequel is released.

Jurassic World 2: Fallen Kingdom: some might argue as to whether this fifth instalment in the Jurassic Park series is really necessary and if there is anywhere for it to go, but next year prepare for some more dinosaur action, with a teaser trailer having just been released…

Mary Poppins Returns: next year will see Mary Poppins return to the big screen, with Emily Blunt taking on the title role. The cast is also set to include:  Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Pixie Davies, Joel Dawson, Nathanael Saleh, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep and Angela Lansbury.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again: as of yet, no plot details have been released for this sequel to the hit 2008 film but is set to star all of the cast from the first film and plenty of songs for them to sing along to!

Fifty Shades Freed: the final chapter in this hugely popular (rightly or wrongly depending on your outlook) film series is set to be released in February…

Solo: A Star Wars Story: this spin-off from the Star Wars film series looks at the story of Hans Solo and Chewbacca – before the rebellion. It set to be released in May next year.
