The dance company have announced that Matthew Bourne’s production of Swan Lake will return to Sadler’s Wells for Christmas 2018. 

Matthew Bourne’s production will return to the London venue with a fresh new look in time for Christmas 2018 before embarking on a UK tour. Tickets for the Sadler’s Wells run will go on sale to the public from the 26th February 2018.

While retaining all the well-loved elements of the original production, Matthew Bourne and the creative team will create a new re-imagining of the classic production.

The production is best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble.

Having been enjoyed by audiences around the world, the production returns to London, with the dates for the Sadler’s Wells run and the UK tour yet to be announced.

Danced to the music of Tchaikovsky, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake has collected over thirty international theatre awards including three Tonys on Broadway.
