NEWS: Casting Announced for Instructions for Correct Assembly at the Royal Court

The Royal Court Theatre has confirmed casting for its upcoming production of Instructions for Correct Assembly.

Directed by Hamish Pirie, it has been announced that Michele Austin, Jason Barnett, Mark Bonnar, Jane Horrocks, Shaniqua Okwok and Brian Vernel are all set to star in the world premiere of Thomas Eccleshare’s play.

Michele Austin returns to the Royal Court having previously appeared in Goats, Primetime 2017, Human Animals, Violence & Son, Who Cares and  Teh Internet is Serious Business. Her other stage credits include: Bravo Figaro (Royal Opera House/Traverse) and Salt Root & Roe (Donmar/Trafalgar Studios).

Jane Horrocks is best known for her roles in Absolutely Fabulous and Trollied. Her previous theatre credits include King Lear (Old Vic theatre), East is East (Trafalgar Studios) and Cabaret (Donmar Warehouse).

Mark Bonnar’s extensive stage credits include The Duchess of Malfi (Old Vic), Twelfth Night (Wyndhams) and The Country Wife (Crucible, Sheffield).

Jason Barnett is back at the Royal Court following previous appearances in productions of Prime Time, Friday Night Sex, The Victorian in the Wall and The Girlfriend Experience. Other theatre credits include:  Saint George & the Dragon (The National), The Fixer (Almeida) and John Dryden’s Tempest (Shakespeare’s Globe).
