Having originally premiered Off-Broadway in 1992, Ruthless! The Musical was first seen in the UK in 2002 at London’s Stratford Circus Theatre and now will make its West End debut at the Arts Theatre, directed by Richard Fitch.

Featuring music by Marvin Laird and book and lyrics by Joel Paley, Ruthless! The Musical tells the story of eight year old Tina Denmark who will do absolutely anything to secure the leading role in her school play.

The show famously spoofs Broadway musicals such as Gypsy and Mame as well as classic films such as The Bad Seed and All About Eve and the original production helped to discover young performers including Britney Spears and Natalie Portman.

This new production is set to star Jason Gardiner, Harriet Thorpe, Kim Maresca, Lara Denning and Tracie Bennett as well as a group of four girls alternating the role of Tina during the show’s run at the Arts Theatre.
