On a cold afternoon in February, Jonah knocks on the door of a townhouse in Brooklyn Heights. He’s come to ask socialite turned recluse Claudia to sell her famously secret art collection to a university archive. Delving deep within their own history, Jonah and Claudia will face the ghosts of the men they each loved and of the lives they lived in a bid to win each other’s trust and discover the mystery behind New York’s most fabled relic: The Unbuilt City.

What were your first impressions of the play after you read the play? I read the read the play and liked it and then I read it again and loved it.

Could you tell me a bit more about your character and what she is like to play? My character is mysterious, secretive, highly sexed, glamorous and doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

How have rehearsals been going so far? Rehearsals are going great. Jonathan and I discovered straight away that we have great chemistry and enjoy working with one another.

What do you think audiences will take away from The Unbuilt City? I think the audiences will fall in love with the characters and come away with their own sense of legacy and history.

You have performed in quite a few London theatres throughout your career – what would you say makes London theatre special?  Every theatre is different in terms of its acoustics and size and sense of history…but the backstage mice are all related to one another!

The Unbuilt City will play at the King’s Head Theatre from the 6th to the 30th June. For more information visit:
