Hi Drew, could you explain a bit more about what you hope to achieve with The British Musicals Collection?  As a company TRW is hugely passionate about discovering new titles and nurturing composers and Writers. My hope for this new collection is to help birth a new generation of classic, quintessential British Musicals.

Why do you think now is the right time to discover new British musicals? There is a huge amount of talent just waiting to be tapped into. I think as a licensing house with the means to be able to support the arts, it’s our duty, and pleasure, to do so.

What do you think makes British musicals special?  There’s a charm to British Musicals that can’t be replicated elsewhere!

If someone has a musical that they would like to be included in The British Musicals Collection – what’s the process they have to go through? The first step is to get in touch with our team and submit your musical. Your musical will then go through our review process, following which we’ll then contact you with next steps.

Is there a time limit for composers and writers to submit details of their musical or will it be ongoing?  There isn’t a time limit, but we’ve already been inundated with new scripts and scores. We hope to see this collection grow to rival our Off-West End catalogue.

TRW now want new British musicals to apply to join them. Composers/writers should send a short synopsis, script and any recordings they may already have to:
