PREVIEW: All My Sons, Old Vic Theatre

The Old Vic is set to present a new production of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons in collaboration with Headlong in 2019.

America, 1947. Despite hard choices and even harder knocks, Joe and Kate Keller are a success story. They have built a home, raised two sons and established a thriving business.

But nothing lasts forever and their contented lives, already shadowed by the loss of their eldest boy to war, are about to shatter. With the return of a figure from the past, long buried truths are forced to the surface and the price of their American dream is laid bare.

This new production will be directed by Jeremy Herrin and set to star two time Academy award winner Sally Field and Bill Pullman.

Sally Field is best known her roles in films such as Forrest Gump and Places in the Heart. She last appeared on stage in a production of The Glass Menagerie.

Bill Pullman is best recognised for his roles in Independence Day and more recently Battle of the Sexes. His stage career includes starring in the original Broadway premiere of The Goat, Or Who is Sylvia? .

Further casting and dates for the production have yet to be confirmed.
