NEWS: Live At Zédel Winter Season Announced

Featuring 110 shows across the season at the Crazy Coqs, Live at Zédel’s winter season will feature a mixture of stars from the worlds of music, cabaret,jazz, comedy and theatre.

With cabaret and live music at the heart of its programme, the Winter Season at Crazy Coqs at the Brasserie Zédel in the heart of Piccadilly Circus has been confirmed.

The season is set to include the London premiere of Sinatra Raw, which had a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. Meanwhile, Camilla Beeput (Save Me, Peep Show, Grantchester and Westside Story) will celebrate the life and career of Lena Horne, one of the most significant black artists in 20th century entertainment.

Jason Manford will also be performing as part of the season, in a one performance show at Live at Zedel on the 15th December. Other musical theatre stars to have solo shows in the winter season includes Marisha Wallace (Effie in Dreamgirls), Olivier-nominated Debbie Kurup (Girl from the North Country),Nicole Dennis (Dreamgirls) and Kim Maresca (Ruthless).

Theatre showcases will include Girl in a Crisis, a new one-woman, jazzy song-cycle musical and The Season was the bittersweet winner of  the  Stiles and Drewe Mentorship Award.

Meanwhile, Live At Zedel will be the venue as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival for Alain Gui’s performance with Susana Sheiman, one  of the most acclaimed jazz singers on the European scene who is making her London debut, and The Jazzcare Project.

The season will also see Carlos Acosta in conversation with Mike Parkinson, while Larry & George Lamb: Back on the Road sees the father and son reunited after their
adventures on Channel 5’s Britain By Bike, kick-starting their new UK tour at Crazy Coqs.

Also included in the winter season will be American cabaret debuts from Joely Fisher – daughter of legendary crooner, Eddie Fisher, and entertainment icon, Connie Stevens; Veteran TV entertainment correspondent Nelson Aspen; NY’s hottest young entertainer Jesse Luttrell; Tony award nominated Willy Falk, three-time MAC Award winner Anne Steele.

Crazy Coqs will also feature a packed Christmas season  including shows by Gary Williams, Jonny Woo, Miss Hope Springs, adult puppeteer The Clementine Show, La Voix, Tori Scott, and 2017 Drama Desk Award winners Simon Green and David Shrubsole celebrating Noel Coward at Christmas.
