Returning from the 22nd November, Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland has announced details of its family events programme at this year’s festival.
Filled with attractions and activities as well as plenty of places to eat and drink, Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland will be open daily from 10am to 10pm from the 22nd November until the 6th January 2019.
Now details have emerged of new attractions and activities suitable for families – including The Magical Ice Kingdom, which will host a brand new theme –‘Enchanted Forest.’ Visitors to the attraction can expect a magical world complete with woodland animals and mythical creatures, created from more than 500 tonnes of ice and snow.
Meanwhile, those who love Rymond Briggs’ The Snowman will want to pay a visit to Backyard Cinema’s The Snowman Experience or watch Peter Pan On Ice that features awe-inspiring skating and flying tricks.
For tiny visitors, there is the Teletubbies Live Show which will be performed at the the MegaDome every morning. As part of the newly designed Santa Land, guests can seek out the huge 45m long Ice Slide as well as an Ice Trike Trail and Santa’s Grotto.
It has also been confirmed that Winter Wonderland will have a new family entrance to ensure a speedy entrance for families.
This year’s Winter Wonderland will also see the return of Zippos Christmas Circus and Cirque Berserk performing brand new shows each day.
