NEWS: Backyard Cinema to Bring Christmas Labyrinth to London

Set in the heart of Winterville, Backyard Cinema will bring a Christmas Labyrinth to Clapham Common this festive season.

Immersive cinema experience company Backyard Cinema has announced its Christmas Labyrinth experience taking place at Winterville as part of London’s alternative festive experience on Clapham Common from the 15th November.

Their biggest production to date, Christmas Labyrinth will see audiences taking their festive fate into their own hands as they navigate an enormous magical maze before journeying through a tunnel of trees and discovering a cosy, enchanted forest cinema.

This latest experiences from the company will include festive snacks, mulled drinks and cocktails available to purchase from inside the screens as well as featuring its very own retro Christmas cabaret bar for guests to enjoy before and after the show.

Given its popularity last year, it has also been confirmed that the production will expand across two cinema screens, adding more opportunities to experience favourite festive flicks including Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually and The Holiday, as well as singalong blockbusters such as The Greatest Showman, Beauty and the Beast and Moulin Rouge.

Talking about the news, Dominic Davies founder and creative director of Backyard Cinema said: “Christmas has always been a popular time of year for us. We love giving people a place to watch all their favourite Christmas movies with an extra sprinkle of Christmas magic. This year however we have poured an entire bucket over it. From the huge retro Christmas cabaret bar to enjoy before and after your show to the enormous, enchanted maze that each customer gets to choose their own route to the cinema through. With the bar and maze open to non cinema goers this year as well, we hope to have festive fun for everyone this year.”

Backyard Cinema’s Christmas Labyrinth will take place at Clapham Common from the 15th November until the 1st January 2019. For more information and to book tickets visit:
