Directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, the production playing at the Park Theatre from the 5th December, will be the first at the theatre to feature flying effects

In 1904, J.M. Barrie premiered one of the greatest adventures to ever play on a theatrical stage. Filled with mermaids, pirates and fairies, lost boys and crocodiles, this is the stunning original story of the boy who could fly.

As well as Alexander Vlahos as Hook, the cast is set to include  Nickcolia King-N’Da as Peter Pan, Rosemary Boyle (Of Mice and Men, UK Tour), Adam Buchanan (After October, Finborough Theatre), Natalie Grady (This House, National Theatre), Jason Kajdi (Our House, UK Tour), Harveen Mann (Bend it like Beckham, West End) & Alfie Webster (Our Four Walls, Ovalhouse).

Talking about the production, Director Jonathan O’Boyle said: “It’s a real privilege to be directing J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan this Christmas at Park Theatre. It’s a story full of magic and wonder and has been part of our history for over a century. Our contemporary vision for the show will use Barrie’s brilliant original text and will bring the magical play right up to date for audiences old and new.”

Peter Pan is set to feature lighting by Nic Farman and set and costume design by Gregor Donnelly.

It was also announced that continuing J.M. Barrie’s love and support of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, 5% of all royalties from this production will go directly to Great Ormond Street.

Peter Pan will play at the Park Theatre from the 5th December until the 5th January 2019. For more information visit: https://www.parktheatre.co.uk/whats-on/peter-pan
