Due to popular demand, Cirque du Soleil has announced it is extending its run of Totem at the Royal Albert Hall for an extra two weeks.
The news of the latest tickets for the additional two week run at the Royal Albert Hall will mean that Totem will now complete its run at the venue on the 26th February.
Tickets for the added weeks will go on sale on the 1st November, following a pre-sale ticket release from 3pm on 29 October via Cirque Club and Ticketmaster, while Royal Albert Hall pre-sale tickets will be on sale on Wednesday 30 October at 9am.
Cirque Du Soleil’s Totem traces the journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. Through a visual and acrobatic language, Totem explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.
The acrobatic performances from the cast will evoke particular selected scenes from the story of evolution. It alternates between science and legend, peppered with aboriginal stories of creation.
Totem had its world premiere in 2010 and has been seen by more than 4.5 million people, in more than 45 cities around the world. It was written and directed by Robert Lepage and features a cast 46 acrobats, actors, musicians and singers, in a display of athleticism, comedy, theatrics and visual effects.
